Lagos · pay per sale

Buy new customers,
not impressions.

Set a price on a new customer. Pay it only when one walks in.

Takes about ten minutes to fund your first offer.

Three ways in.

For shops funding an offer

I want more customers

Set what a first-time customer is worth to you, fund it, and watch exactly what the money bought.

For people carrying a code

I want to earn by sharing offers

Pick an offer from a shop near you, share your own QR code, and see each sale land with its full record.

For shops with a counter

I have a counter people pass

Stand a partner shop's card on your counter. It costs nothing and competes with nothing you sell.

How attribution works

One sale, on both ledgers.

  1. 1

    A shop funds an offer

A discount for the customer, plus a reward for whoever brings them in. The budget sits in escrow and is refundable.

  2. 2

    People and shops carry it

Each carrier gets their own QR code. One code, one carrier, one campaign, and never a competitor of theirs.

  3. 3

    A customer scans and pays

No app, no login. They see the discount, pay in seconds, and get a receipt they can show the counter.

  4. 4

    We attribute and split

The sale ties back to the exact code, we verify the customer is genuinely new, and the reward splits automatically.

What it costs

You set the price. We take a cut of it.

Decide the discount the customer gets and the reward the carrier earns.

Cost breakdown on a ₦500 reward
To the carrier ₦500
To Popucáo ₦214
You pay, per new customer ₦714
  • Nothing to pay until a verified new customer buys.
  • Budgets are first come, first counted.
  • Caps per day and per code keep the pace where you want it.
  • Carriers pay nothing, ever.

Every naira is accounted for

A record you could take to a dispute and win.

Every sale is on the ledger

Every sale is dated, referenced and reconciled — including the ones that earned nothing. That is the point.

Held for 7 days

Money is held for 7 days after a sale, in case the customer returns the item or disputes the payment. After that it's yours.

Is this a referral scheme?

There is no payment for signing anyone up.

Nobody is paid for bringing another person onto Popucáo. Not in the app, not in the terms. Rewards exist for sales, and only for sales. You get paid when a new customer buys using your code.

We also never pair a carrier with a business that competes with them.

Why a purple cow

A brown cow is forgettable.

A purple one stops you cold. We make an ordinary shop the one that gets noticed — and we try to be the remarkable option in advertising itself: measurable, honest, and paid for only when it works.

Questions

The things people actually ask.

How do you know the customer is really new?

We check the customer's number against that shop's past sales through Popucáo. If they have bought there before, they still get their discount — the carrier just does not earn on it, and the ledger says so plainly.

Does the customer need to install anything?

No. They scan, see the discount, and pay in the browser. Carriers and shops can install the app or work entirely in a browser. Customers never install anything.

When do carriers actually get their money?

Rewards are held for 7 days after the sale, then become available to withdraw to a bank account or mobile money. Withdrawals are free, with a ₦1,000 minimum.

Is this a referral scheme?

No. Nobody is paid for signing anyone up, and there is no downline. Rewards are paid for verified sales only.

What happens if a sale is refunded?

The reward is returned with it, and the reason appears on the carrier's ledger. If they think that is wrong, they can appeal and a person reviews it.
